After fInishing up this project I'd have to say its #2 on the things I'm most proud of after my glass top install. I've built everything on my car and put hours of work into it. U can check with Mugen (Josh) if you want credibility. So with that being said it started like this:
About 3 years ago, I found a set of 3 gold BBS RS 207 on a 89 Acura legend in the junkyard here in GP. Bought all three for 90 bucks. Deal of the decade if u ask me. Found a fourth one in Cali and got it shipped over for a complete set. First thing I had to do was redrill since they were 4x114. Yep, they are now 4x100 and 4x114.
Next, I knew I had to change the color, so my boy Mugen got the cOlor right at Enduro coatings after the first fugly color they put on it. I'd have to say I like it alot. The only other thing I would do different now is go chrome on it. Next in order was finding the caps and center nuts. Found the caps on EBay and the center nuts on a wwebsite from England.
I finally had everything xcept tyres and lip. On these two items alone, I knew it would make or break Everthing I had worked on so far. Mind you, it took me almost 2 yEars to finish this whole dam thing. After checking Tyrestretch.com, I found the right tyre size I wanted. Lastly, was lip size. I wanted to not roll my fenders most of all. So I went from stock 6.5" wide to a 9" wide front and 9.5" wide rear. I got the lips from Tunershop.com. I used my original BBS nuts and bolts since they have "BBS" stamps on them and aftermarket lips dont. Besides none broke so why waste money and take off oem parts from the wheels? I did polish each and every nut and bolt with a wire wheel and enduro all polished my center caps for that bling shine. At the end of the pics will be my total cost that I put into these BBS's wich now call them BigBallerStatus...
Ok so enjoy the pics. Can't wait to see other custom builds.
Keeping my STATUS Baller 4Life.
Picss are in order from beginning to end.
This was how I wanted it to look at the end.
This is the set after it was all complete with caps and nuts.
Next was the 4x114 redrill to 4x100

Then off to powder coating at Enduro
